UBAM 2019 NATIONAL CONVENTION

The Usborne Books & More National Convention is my favorite event
of the entire year. It’s a place where all of us book ladies go to gather, celebrate, honor, create, learn, build, connect, and be reminded of why we are in this together.
This year is extra special–for we will be celebrating 30 years of business!

Just to give you a little sneak peak,the picture below is of Nancy Ann Wartman, the Queen of our team. She is an extraordinary leader! Anyway, here she is showing off her new attire she just bought at the More Store.  The place to go to get really cool branded company clothing.

The Convention is such a great getaway from life.  Here we get to get away from the demands of life.  We leave our kids and family behind and hang with each other.  Laughing all the way. hahahaha
But the treats we get from home office are the best ever! It’s one of the reasons many of us stick around with UBAM.  When we register and attend convention we get a bag of goodies and other giveaways that go with attending.

Not only that but every year, we get books at a bargain. It’s always excitement to discover we get to shop for books at a Bargain.  This year, they didn’t offer the Bargain Books as part of the MORE Store. We got to order a New Title BUNDLE, which sadly, I missed the cut-off date. 🙁

My goals are to give Isaac the stellar education from the mediocre education I received.  So, that means that giving my son a library he can grow with is prime and teaching him to read well is up their with a great library.
And, while taking the time off is an incredible luxury for my family, but it is absolutely crucial that we take the time off from life and take a break from our busy lives so we can recharge, refreshed, regain our energy and get inspired.
So party on and see you when I get back from paradise.

Taking mini breaks and enjoying time away from the hustle of life. Is important. It’s important to take time to think and reflect on the path you take in your life. And Ask yourself, is this really what God wants me to do? Is this the path that leads to happiness?
So this week, I will be pondering my own assumptions and asking myself some deep questions inspired by Marie Forleo.  Would you join me in pondering your assumptions? And take some time to think and reflect on where you’re going?
