"Unlocking the Secret to Living Like Jesus: You Won't Believe What He Wants for You!"

Can I Truly Emulate Jesus?
The idea of being like Jesus might seem far-fetched to many. It’s a common belief that achieving Christ-like qualities is an unattainable goal. However, I beg to differ.
There’s a quote that has always resonated with me: “If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will spend its whole life believing that it’s stupid.”
For a fish, it excels in water but struggles on land. Similarly, a lion may be the king of the jungle, but it wouldn’t thrive in water. The essence of this analogy is that every being has a unique environment in which they excel.
Here’s the truth: If you’re in Christ, you already possess His heart. Each one of us has been endowed with unique gifts and talents, which, when used, can help us live a life resembling Christ’s. These gifts aren’t just for our benefit; they’re meant to serve others and bring happiness.
What’s truly remarkable is that Jesus loves you just the way you are, unconditionally. His love doesn’t waver based on your actions or mistakes. It’s quite unlike human love, which can fluctuate. Therefore, our love for others should also be unconditional.
So why do we often find ourselves passing judgment on others when it only leads to hurt feelings? Each person is a unique world unto themselves, and understanding their world helps us comprehend their behavior and actions. We are all equally important, and no one should be ignored or excluded.
Life isn’t solely composed of grand, momentous events like receiving a massive work bonus, winning a tiara, or throwing an extravagant party. True happiness lies in the little things—the daily moments and how you feel throughout your life.
My grandfather taught me that service and impact are the true currency of happiness. Our passions drive us, but our purpose is to serve others. We all have a purpose in this world. I’m passionate about literacy, and by addressing the root cause of our failing education system—reading—I aim to serve others and make a difference.
“Service to others is the rent we pay for our room here on earth,” said Muhammad Ali. We need to collaborate, better understand each other, and refrain from judgment because we all rely on each other in some way.
God’s plan for you is to transform your heart. He loves you just as you are, and His love is unchanging. People may come and go, love or judge you based on your actions, but not God. He sent His son because His love for you is unwavering.
So, as you go about your life, remember that Jesus loves you, and you can live a purposeful life by serving others with your unique gifts. Don’t worry about others’ opinions; focus on what God will say when your life is over. His love is for you, always.
